Hi Carl – I had the MITS Altair at the Amateur Radio show in Richmond VA – Frostfest. It really created a crowd. I this I will start to take a small display to some of these shows and let folks have a look at some old ones.

I recall helping my dad solder parts of the Altair together. I thought he must have been a genius to communicate with the computer without a keyboard. All of our old computers (pretty much everything from the Altair to the IBM XT) were confiscated by the Mexican government when he moved there briefly for a University job in 1994. Tragic!
