Modem Stud is the first work of fiction on modeming at 300 baud, 1200 baud half-duplex, and maybe even 1200 baud. It’s presently available as an e-book on Amazon.  The novel is undergoing final revisions which are posted several times a week.   1. Thanks. Maybe the exciting story will help others know what it was like before the internet. It’s odd nobody ever wrote about this much before. But in the early days not many people had computers with modems.

  2. What BBS movie came out? The documentary the guy in Boston started around 2001?

    My experience in the BBS world was actually a lot of action. My brother and I met a lot of interesting people. It was not just on-line typing. I tried to convey all this in Modem Stud. 

    My other reason for writing the book was this was my brush with history. I grew up in a household where my dad had the first issue of Byte Magazine. He was a big advocate of the micro computer in education and business. From the Altair and before I watched all of this develop..
